Arm problems... weary arm, dead arm.
Roberts over used him, he's 37, power pitcher with a lot of miles on him, om the IL a few times this yr, he was used in relief even if he volunteered Roberts should have kept him in his usual rotation schedule. LA has a deep bullpen.
GREAT break for Braves.

Dodgers are just so smart as defending champions and winning 106 games they get to the playoffs with relief pitcher games, short rest and using Scherzer as the closer. Let's hope they are put to sleep tomorrow night.

Robert’s has made some incredibly dumb moves.
Pitching Uries in game 2 was probably the worst

Can they make roster changes during a series? Or was he on the active roster for this series?

  • Bauer $31M
  • Price $32M
  • Kershaw $31M
  • Scherzer $42M (2 months)

ALL out, worthless, (Price was just activated but so what?), keep in mind for example TB spent $71M, Oakland $80M for entire roster, LAD $282M.

I have no sympathy for the LAD, do not want anybody to be injured, but still...

Again, I am sick and tired of top 6-7 teams spending >$200M while others do not compete (KC, Pitt, et al)

Bueller on 3 day rest coming off 76 pitch performance

if I am the braves, I try to take him deep into counts and try to get into the bullpen by the 6th inning at the latest

If Bueller gets through the first five he'll be good enough ..He's had rough early innings in a bunch of starts, sometimes he's recovered after giving up a few runs early other times he's crumbled...Roberts will have a short rope on him tonight ..although he'll need to save the Pen...great set up for Atlanta

Hard to know if Buehler will be right... some pitchers can do it in a pinch, some cannot. Yes, he needs to go 5 innings (2ER or less?) to be successful.

He is a power pitcher and if his stuff is not as strong as usual, he might be very vulnerable. The LA catcher will know after a few hitters. Look for hitters taking good cuts if he is off, or taking check swings in confusion if he has his best stuff.

I hope he gets hammered, out after 2 2/3, 4ER.

LAD -155 is a huge risk, though Anderson is no stalwart, I'll take the Braves.

We shall see.

Three days rest used to be the norm, and happens even nowadays in the post season
